By // No comments:
If your iPhone screen is frozen, there are a couple of things you can do to get your iPhone back in track under 10 seconds.

So your iPhone is screen is frozen? Let’s get dirty.

iPhone Screen Is Frozen – Solved

Realistically, if you had a removable battery like the LG G4, all you would have done is to pull off the battery, but the iPhone battery is non-removable, making that option invalid. That’s one argument – removable battery vs non-removable battery. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, however.
Now, the first thing how you are going to do is to force quit an app, if that doesn’t work, you will have to hard reset your iPhone. This is not a factory reset; you will not lose any data.

Step One: Force App To Quit

Simply hold and press the Home button until the current application quits.
Hint: If this doesn’t work after holding the Home button for 10 seconds, please proceed to the next step.

Step Two: Hard Reset

If you are still locked out of your device because your iPhone screen is frozen, then do the following;
Press and hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until the iPhone is rebooted. Immediately you see the Apple logo, you can let go of your hands.
Doing this will not lead to lose of data, I said earlier, it’s not a factory reset. All your data will remain intact, but you will lose any document you were working on if it was not saved.
Hint: If you noticed that a particular app causes this problem. The most logical thing to do is to uninstall the app.
The various steps listed here works on any iPhone, iPad or iPhod touch with iOS 5 and later.

iPhone 6S Camera Specs, Everything You Need To Know

Apple is one innovative company that do not have a track record of following the “crowd”, they do things are their own time. The iPhone 6S camera specs are one of such hardware components that has seen the much needed improvement.
iPhone 6 was launched in 2015 with an 8MP camera sensor when its biggest competitor, Galaxy S6 had a 16MP camera. Though, we tried to justify why mega-pixels are overrated, the guy on the street only want to hear the the numbers have increased.
Apple made a couple of changes to the iPhone 6S, but this article is cantered on the iPhone 6S camera specifications.
Apple says the iPhone 6S has a 12MP iSight rare camera; the device is designed to have 50% more pixels and twice the focus pixels, when compared with older models that has the 8MP camera which was almost becoming a standard for the iPhones.

The iPhone 6S camera also has a new technology called deep-trench isolation. This helps to differentiate photo diodes, while maintain precise and accurate colors.
iPhone 6S camera specs also include a massive 63-MP panorama photo, photo lovers will have an incredible time with this device.
The iPhone 6S camera aperture stands at f/2.2, it also comes with Optical Image Stabilization like its processor. Shaky hands? This is going to really help.
You can also use the iPhone 6S to shoot 4K videos, technically this will allow you to get 8 million pixels in every single frame.
iPhone 6S selfie camera also saw a major improvement from the previous mediocre 1.2MP available on older iPhones to 5MP.
If you pitch the iPhone 6s camera against the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus, there is always going to be some disparity and you can get a clear winner. However, both companies have their bragging rights and it works for them.

New iPhone 7 Render Shows Super AMOLED, Ceramic Back & Waterproof Design

By // No comments:
iPhone 7 is not launching anytime soon but several leaks have been on the web and we couldn’t get our eyes off the latest render that shows the iPhone 7 in full glory.

iphone-7-render

Most of these leaks comes from Korea and China, we really don’t know much about iPhone 7. You are advised to retain your scepticism regarding this information since we are unable to get concrete proof that supports it.
Based on the latest render, the iPhone 7 is said to feature a super AMOLED display, it is also rumored to have a waterproof design; two dated piece of technology that should really make Apple fans want the iPhone 7. Ouch..
Apple will get rid of two existing design concept; the Antenna lines and earphone jack. The smartphone is said to have a ceramic back, paired with a new metal frame.
Interesting! Apple had earlier argued that the earphone jack uses too much space, its removal will see a slightly thinner smartphone than the iPhone 6 and improve the responsiveness of the iPhone 7.

Fix: Touchscreen Issue On iPhone / iPad During Charging

By // No comments:
While charging your iPhone / iPad, this issue may occur and make your touchscreen unresponsive. Swiping becomes a problem and typing becomes erratic, making the device almost unusable. This can be frustrating especially if you’re experiencing it for the first time, a simple task like unlocking the device becomes impossible while the device is charging. It’s often said that it’s caused third party  chargers but there are cases where this happens even with original Apple chargers.

iPad Air charging

This never happens when charging the same device with the USB cable connected to a computer’s USB port. The culprit might be a defective charger but not always. In my case, I noticed that while charging the iPad and it’s in a protective case, this problem is bound to occur. Removing the case and plugging in the same charger makes the device normal.
A friend also has the same experience with the iPhone 5S and it seems there is a valid explanation to this.

Understanding the problem

While there may be different explanations to this, one thing I noticed is that this seems to be a earthing problem. When the protective case is removed, touching the metallic back cover makes the issue go away. There is possibility that the wall socket is not properly grounded.
It might also be a faulty charger but if you’re sure the charger is certified by Apple, this is definitely a grounding issue. Touching the metal casing of the device might be a temporary fix till the wall socket is fixed. To troubleshoot, you should consider:
  1. Using the phone while charging with your hand touching the metal casing
  2. Trying the charger in a different outlet somewhere else
  3. Checking if the issue will be reproduced with another charger
In my case, I only needed to charge the device in a different outlet to understand where the problem was coming from.

iPhone 7 To Come With Wireless Charging, New Earbuds

By // No comments:
As always, rumors precede upcoming Apple products and the iPhone 7 is no exception. Based an a couple of patent applications filed by Apple, it has been deduced that the next generation iPhone might be waterproof. It has also been said the the device might heal itself through the use of a “self-healing elastomer” material.

And just a few days ago, we published a report claiming that the iPhone 7 might come with a 256GB storage and a larger battery. Well, none of these rumors are confirmed but a new report published by Fast Company was in line with existing rumors, and we got some more juicy details.

The headphone jack is gone

Rumors have been circulating about this. A group of Apple fans are even kicking against the idea and a petition has been created with over 210,000 signatures already. According to the report, a source close to Apple revealed that Apple is removing the 3.5mm jack from the next iPhone to make it thinner.

It is said that instead of the traditional earphone jack, Apple will use the lightning cable port for wired sound output. The device might also ship with wireless earbuds with noise cancelling technology.

iPhone 7 might support wireless charging

Apple is far behind in this regard as competitors like Samsung already have devices that support wireless charging. The source revealed that Apple is finally considering implementing the feature on the iPhone 7 and there’s a very high possibility it’s going to happen.

However, it won’t be the first Apple device to support wireless charging as the Apple Watch already has wireless inductive charging feature.

A Waterproof iPhone 7

The report also points to a waterproof iPhone 7 but this rumor has been circulating for a while already. Even if this happens, it’s not going to be a surprise. Apple made the iPhone 6S almost totally waterproof but it wasn’t mentioned during the launch.
It’s only expected the waterproof feature on the iPhone 6S gets perfected on the next generation iPhone.

Release date

There’s no word on the release date yet but analysts speculate it should be around September. It should be noted that even though Apple may be working on the features mentioned, they may not make it to the final build of the device as the company often changes things at the last minute.
Perhaps more details will leak when Apple finally goes into production.

Here’s How To Make Your Old iPhone or iPad Run Faster

By // No comments:

If you’ve already built a relationship with a device, letting it go for a newer one may not really be easy. Besides, these smartphone vendors release newer versions of these same devices year after year and it requires a lot of restraint to keep oneself from changing devices every now and then

IPad Air

If you’re still using an iPhone 4s or an iPad 3 in 2016, no one is blaming you. You’re probably not a gadget freak and don’t really see the need for a newer device yet. I held on to the iPhone 4s for years and decided not to change it till I gave it out a while back. Apple still offers support for some of its older devices but it’s a known fact that these older devices used to perform better on older firmware versions.
If your old generation iPhone or iPad has become terribly slow, there are certain things you can do to improve it.

Turn on reduced motion

iOS has an aesthetically appealing user interface and there’s a lot of animations in between app transitions. Disabling this can go a long way in making your device faster. To do this, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduced Motion > Turn on.

Reduced motion on iOS
This doesn’t only decrease the motion of the user interface, it also turns off parallax effect on icons. This puts less work on your processor.

Turn off background app refresh

Generally, background activities hampers your device’s performance and hurts battery life. If you’re using an older device, turning off background app refresh is likely to leave you more RAM to play with and your device’s processor won’t need to handle some processes in the background.

Turn off background app refresh
This feature is actually meant to prolong battery life but of course, less things to manage in the background means a faster operating system. To turn off this feature, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.

Turn off multitasking

A lot of people find the multitasking feature on iOS 9 particularly useful and it gets better with the split-screen multitasking on the iPad Pro and iPad Air 2. On older devices like the iPad Air and iPad 4, you can still multitask using the app overlay you can access by swiping from the right.

However, if you’re still on an older iPad, turning off this feature may considerably make your device run faster.

Turn off multitasking on ios

Go to Settings > General > Multitasking.

Free up the RAM once in a while

Unknown to many, there’s a simply way to do this without necessarily rebooting your device. All you need to do hold the power button till slide to unlock is displayed.
Now hold the home button for about 5 seconds or so. The home screen should reload, all applications are ended and the RAM is refreshed. This speeds up your iPhone or iPad considerably.

Other tips

A good advice is to remove apps you don’t really use. Apart from the fact that they take unnecessary space, the system still has to process notifications from these apps. The effect may be little but you should consider freeing up space and getting rid of junk. Clearing your browser cache too helps in its own little way

See Rumoured Specs of the New iPhone 7

iPhone 7

It’s no longer news that the Apple iPhone s6 will surely be going off the throne as “latest iPhone” as Apple plans to launch the new iPhone 7 in September. Since the revelation by Apple, many rumours have emerged as regards what the new iPhone 7 will look like. The latest is that Apple plans to mimic the  Sony Xperia Z3+ which was launched  back in 2015 at the MWC Barcelona.

According to FastCompany, Apple will be building a slimmer iPhone 7 and will cull the 3.5mm jack to achieve the same. But there’s more on that.
The source confirmed that the Lightning port on the iPhone will be hot-wired for sound output to wired headphones. Bluetooth headphones will also be an option. Apple is reportedly working with its long-term audio chip partner Cirrus Logic to achieve the above. Also, the audio system will utilise a new noise-canceling technology from Wolfston Microelectronics UK. The same will be partially installed in the iPhone, while the remainder will work from the headphones (EarPods). Also Apple (as always) will be minting some money by licensing the audio processing technology to accessory makers.
This is all we know for now. Stay tuned as we await the release of the iPhone 7 in September.

Step 1 of 7: How to transfer from Windows Phone to iPhone

If you've grown tired of Windows Phone, or have been seduced by the merits of Apple's iOS ecosystem, you may be pondering the best methods for switching from a Windows smartphone to an iPhone. You certainly wouldn't be the first.
It's actually quite straightforward to migrate from one platform to another, but it's important to follow the procedure carefully so you don't lose any important data, from contacts and calendar data to music and photos. Apps are more difficult, but when moving in this particular direction you'll virtually always find that an iOS equivalent or alternative is available on your new device; iPhone owners switching to Windows Phone might not always be so lucky.
In this article we walk disillusioned Windows Phone users through the process of transferring to an iPhone. Good luck!

Step 2 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: It's easy to get started

The first step to transferring your Windows Phone data and accounts to an iPhone is to get your contacts (as well as your calendar) moved over. Fortunately this is pretty easy, because Microsoft uses Microsoft Account to store Calendar, Contacts and Mail information and Apple's iPhone supports Microsoft Account straight out of the box.

Step 3 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: Set up Microsoft Account

The first thing to do is to ensure that your Windows Phone is syncing all of its data to Microsoft's Servers. You've probably done this already, but if not, here's how to set up a Microsoft Account:
slideshow image
  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Add an Account > Outlook.
  3. Fill out the Email Address and Password fields with your Outlook or Office 365 Account.
  4. Tap Sign In.

More detailed information on setting up a Microsoft Account can be found at WindowsPhone.
In the following steps we'll look at how to sync all of the information on your Windows Phone to the cloud, and how to sync this with your iPhone.
We'll start with Contacts…

Step 4 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: Set up Outlook on your iPhone

With all your Windows Phone information uploaded to your Microsoft Account, it's time to bring it over to your iPhone. The easiest way to do this is to set up Outlook on your iPhone:
slideshow image
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Select Outlook.com.
  5. Enter your Email and Password.
  6. Tap Next.

Step 5 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: Set up OneDrive to transfer documents

Any documents you've created on your Windows Phone will be stored using Microsoft's OneDrive service. First make sure all the information you want is on the OneDrive app in Microsoft Windows. Open OneDrive and check that all the files you want to save are stored there.
slideshow image
Some important files are likely to be missing. Here's how to move files from apps (including Photos) to OneDrive:
  1. Tap Add.
  2. Choose an app you want to upload files from.
  3. Tap the checkbox next to each file from that app to upload.
  4. Tap OK.

Step 6 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: Install OneDrive

Now that you've got all your files and documents from Windows Phone to OneDrive, it's time to install OneDrive on your iPhone.
    slideshow image
  1. Open App Store.
  2. Tap Search.
  3. Enter "onedrive" and tap Search.
  4. Tap Get and Install.
  5. Tap Open.

Step 7 of 7: Switch from Windows Phone to iPhone: Set up OneDrive

Now that you have OneDrive installed on your iPhone, you need to set it up using the same account details you are using on Windows Phone.
  1. Open OneDrive.
  2. Enter the same Microsoft Account ID you use on your windows Phone and tap Go.
  3. Enter your Microsoft Account password and tap Sign In.
  4. Tap OK or Don't Allow to the Alert screens.
slideshow image
You'll now see a list of files and folders stored in your OneDrive account. Tap on a folder, then on a file to view it.
You can use the Share button to save photos to your camera roll, open Microsoft Office documents in Office apps or choose other apps to open documents.

How to transfer contacts from iPhone to iPhone

Hi am Eddy and will be showing you  how to transfer contacts from iPhone to iPhone

Tip 1 of 4: How to transfer contacts from iPhone to iPhone: Transfer contacts to a brand new iPhone

You’ve just got a brand new iPhone – great! But how do you transfer all your contacts from your old iPhone to your new one? Apple introduced iCloud back in 2011 and its cloud service can be used to easily transfer contacts from one device to another. If you don’t use iCloud, don’t worry as you can always use iTunes or third-party software instead (we’ll show you how to use these, too).
Note that you only get a limited amount of iCloud storage space for free from Apple, just 5GB. If you need more, you'll need to pay 79p per month if you need 50GB, £2.49 per month if you need 200GB or £6.99 per month if you need 1TB. We've found that the 79p option is adequate for most users.
To transfer contacts to a brand new iPhone:
1) On your old phone, make sure that you’re logged into your iCloud account and connected to WiFi. To check if you’re logged in, head to Settings> iCloud – if your name and Apple ID are displayed at the top of the page then you’re logged in and ready to get started.
2) Once you’re logged in, make sure that the option to sync contacts is toggled on.
3) Go to Settings > iCloud > Backup and tap "Back Up now". The length of time this takes depends on how much content you’re backing up and the speed of your Internet connection.
4) During the initial setup of your new iPhone, you’ll be prompted for your Apple ID details.
5) When asked to choose from a backup or set up as a new iPhone, select "Restore from iCloud Backup".
6) Select the latest backup from the list and the restore will begin. The length of time this takes depends on your Internet connection.
7) Once the restore has finished, the phone will restart and should be ready to use.

Apple's iPad Pro outsold Microsoft's entire Surface lineup over the holidays

By // No comments:
Consumers have apparently taken a liking to the iPad Pro following its November release, as new data suggests that Apple moved nearly half a million more of the jumbo tablets alone than Microsoft did of its entire Surface lineup.

"We believe Apple sold just over two million iPad Pros while Microsoft sold around 1.6 million Surface devices, a majority of which were Surface Pro and not the more affordable Surface 3," IDC research director Jean Philippe Bouchard said in a release. "With these results, it's clear that price is not the most important feature considered when acquiring a detachable - performance is."

IDC considers tablets like the iPad Pro and Surface — which are designed to work primarily with first-party keyboard accessories — in a different category than tablets such as the iPad Air.

"This quarter was unique as we had new detachables in the market from all three of the major platform players," IDC analyst Jitesh Ubrani said. "Despite lukewarm reviews, the iPad Pro was the clear winner this season as it was the top selling detachable, surpassing notable entries from Microsoft and other PC vendors."

"It's also important to note that the transition towards detachable tablets has presented positive opportunities for both Apple and Microsoft," Ubrani added. "However, Google's recent foray into this space has been rather lackluster as the Android platform will require a lot more refinement to achieve any measurable success."

Healthy iPad Pro sales helped Apple keep its market share lead over second-place Samsung, despite a continued slowdown in overall tablet demand. Apple finished the fourth quarter with 24.5 percent of the market, compared to 13.7 percent for the South Korean firm.

Amazon came in a surprise third with its bargain basement Fire tablet, which sold for just $50 during the holiday shopping season and accounted for 7.9 percent of the market. Lenovo and Huawei rounded out the top five.
