Team Hovatek has been providing very helpful stock roms, tutorials, videos and free support to device users. After collating a list of common Tecno issues, they came up with the Tecno Individual Files Project which is targeted at solving 3 common and frustrating Tecno phone problems.
1. NVRAM error
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your Tecno phone suddenly won't switch to 3G or 4G? Its either you don't find a 3G / 4G option or network just disappears. This might also happen after you format your phone.
2. Variant problem
Have you ever tried flashing a stock rom for your model only to get a mismatch error, a white / black screen or end up with a totally dead phone? This is as a result of different variants for your phone model so you'll need to find a stock rom for your exact variant
3. Component files
Have you ever needed just one file from a Tecno stock rom e.g LK.bin / Scatter file which are just a few Kilobytes or recovery.img which is less than 16 MB but had to download an entire stock rom of over 1.5GB just to get those small files?
Hovatek's Tecno Individual Files Project has answers to all three. The project includes a collection of Tecno NVRAM backups to help you fix 3G or 4G problems, several variants of Tecno stock roms (the largest collection there is so far) and components files of each stock rom variant (e.g LK.bin, Logo.bin, Boot.img, Scatter file, Recovery.img etc).
