I’ve always been an loyal fan of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and partially MTK chipset. I’m still waiting for the day our very own OEM’s like Tecno and Infinix will release their first snapdragon device in Nigeria.

However, Meizu has taken the giant leap, released their first ever Qualcomm device Meizu M6 note. M6 note is a mid-range smartphone that is all metal built, 5.5-inch 1080p display up front along with a physical home button that is also carrying the fingerprint ID.

For the camera, it features dual rear cameras with a Sony IMX362 sensor (12MP, 1.4 µm pixel size) behind an f/1.9 lens and a 5MP secondary camera to help the artificial Bokeh effect.  While the front camera has a 16 MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

Meizu M6 Note runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Flyme OS 6.0 on top. The battery capacity of the phone is 4,000 mAh with mCharge fast charging as well, which should be quick as it supports 18W charging.

It comes in 3 different variants (3GB+16GB)$165, (3GB+32GB)$194 and (4GB Ram + 64GB)$254.
